Development Project Manager

POSITION:

Based in Atlanta, GA, the Development Project Manager will be part of a dynamic and growing business environment. The position will report directly to the Development Manager, VPs, and SVPs of the Development Team located in Atlanta, GA and will plan, coordinate and oversee the development and construction of Stonemont’s speculative and build-to=suit industrial developments from conception to completion. This job involves tasks such as managing the vetting and hiring process of architects, contractors, engineers, and consultants; monitoring the construction process to ensure the project is completed on schedule; managing entitlement processes to obtain approvals for projects; AND working with the originations team to determine the viability of potential projects. The Project Manager will coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, lenders, and city officials. Coordinate project tracking, scheduling, on-site inspections, and project close-out. Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, estimates, and deliverables. Ability to oversee multiple projects at a time and monitor to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process.

YEARS EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

3-5 years of construction management experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience using project management software, organizational and analytical mindset. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Industrial experience is a major plus but not required.

CHARACTERISTIC OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Works well within a team, can also be self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects at a time with the support of the team, analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
