John GribAssociate, Acquisitions/ISF

John serves as Associate of Acquisitions for Stonemont Financial Group, where he is responsible for originating and underwriting prospective Northeast industrial real estate transactions, as well as managing existing investments.

Prior to Stonemont, John worked at The Blackstone Group in New York as an Analyst within the Private Equity Tactical Opportunities team, focusing on specialty finance and alternative fund investments.  He began his career at Oxford Funds, a credit hedge fund in Greenwich, Connecticut, evaluating the firm’s collateralized loan obligation (CLO) and leverage loan investments.

John received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Syracuse University.  He also formerly taught as an adjunct professor at Baruch College’s William Department of Real Estate.
