McLean Voelkel

McLean joined Stonemont in 2021 supporting the firm’s acquisition and development platforms. As a Senior Associate, McLean spends his time working on healthcare, industrial, and net-lease acquisitions, sale/leasebacks, and build-to-suit transactions.  His core responsibilities include credit analysis of prospective tenants, pro-forma underwriting, market research, due diligence & legal documentation review, as well as offering memorandum creation for real estate opportunities sourced through our originations team. Since joining Stonemont, McLean has shouldered increased responsibilities and has begun working on his brokerage network to source opportunities in the healthcare and industrial space.

Prior to Stonemont, McLean spent two years at Truist Bank in the Real Estate Corporate & Investment Banking Group and Institutional Real Estate Group.  He was primarily responsible for forecasting property-level & portfolio cash flows, preparing internal memorandums, and performing credit & market analysis across all asset types for Truist’s new & existing real estate exposure.

McLean graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Undergraduate Business School. McLean holds Series 63 and Series 79 certifications.
