Rob Smith

Rob joined Stonemont Financial Group in 2020 after working for Rialto Capital Management as the Asset Manager for Rialto’s multi-family platform. At Rialto, Rob managed the day to day operations for over 4,500 multi-family units, including the oversight of property management, construction management and the ultimate disposition strategy for the portfolio.

Prior to joining Rialto Capital, Mr. Smith was a senior analyst for the asset management group at Jamestown LP, Inc., where he assisted in the management of over of $1.3 billion in commercial assets in San Francisco and Washington D.C.. Mr. Smith was responsible for performing lease analysis, forecasting property performance and establishing and executing strategic business plans. Mr. Smith was integral in creating and implementing a standard reporting process between the asset management and portfolio/fund management teams.

Mr. Smith volunteers as a board member and serves as the Chairman for the Chamblee Downtown Development Authority, with a mission to promote, preserve and enhance a safe and economically viable central business district through property acquisitions, development and third-party development partnerships.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Georgia. Mr. Smith has been an active member in ULI, is certified in ARGUS Enterprise and holds a Georgia Real Estate license (inactive).
